Materials:

• Oddments of DK yarn
• 4 mm needles
• 5 cm tall wooden peg

Finished size: measures about 6 cms high.

Body

Cast on 10 stitches.

Pattern (4-row repeat):

• Row 1: knit
• Row 2: knit
• Row 3: k1, p1 repeat to end
• Row 4: k1, p1 repeat to end

Repeat these 4 rows 8 times (total 32 rows). Cast off.

Fold the bottom edge up to the last set of pattern rows so the cast-on edge forms the base. Align edges and sew both side seams to form the body tube that will slip over the peg.
