Hand-knitted garter-stitch cage mat, two-colour DK yarn, finished size 20 x 22 cm.
Cage mats are thick mats that provide comfort to small animals when in cages.
Size: 20 cms x 22 cms
Materials:
- 5.5 mm needles
- 2 colours DK yarn held together — total approx 40 grams
Knitted in garter stitch throughout (every row knit).
Pattern
- Cast on 34 stitches.
- Knit every row until the piece measures 22 cms from the cast-on edge.
- Cast off.
- Darn off ends.
Notes: The finished mat measures approximately 20 x 22 cm. To adjust the size to better fit a particular cage, cast on more or fewer stitches for a wider mat, or knit more or fewer centimetres for a longer or shorter mat. Ensure ends are securely darned in before use.
