- DPN 4 mm (UK 8 or US 6)
- Super Corfou – 100% Acrylic, Color # 45, 40 grams – 95 meters.

- k – knit
- p – purl
- st(s) – stitch(es)
- sel s – selvage stitch: always slip the first stitch purlwise, work to the last stitch, purl the last stitch
- yo – yarn over
- dwk – double wrap knit stitch: insert the needle through the stitch and instead of wrapping once, wrap the working yarn twice, then pull through like a normal knit stitch.
Guelder-rose stitch instructions:
Cast on a multiple of 11 sts plus 1 extra stitches, plus 2 selvage stitches. In my example 36 stitches.
Row1: sel s, purl all stitches, sel s.
Row 2: sel s, knit all stitches, sel s.
Row 3: sel s, *k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, [dwk] – 6 times, k1, yo, k1, yo – repeat from *, k1, sel s.
Row 4: sel s, *p5, slip next 6 stitches from the right-hand needles to the left without knitting, as a result you will get 6 long stitches, p4 – repeat from *, p1, sel s.
Row 5: sel s, * k5, knit next 6 stitches through the back loops first and after through the front loops, as a result you will get 2 stitches from 6, k4– repeat from *, k1, sel s.
Row 6: sel s, purl all stitches, sel s.
Row 7: sel s, knit all stitches, sel s.
Row 8: sel s, purl all stitches, sel s.
Repeat Rows 1-8 to form the pattern
