As only half of each skein of yarn is used, two skeins is sufficient for two scarves.

Setup
Using yarn drawn from the center of one cake, draw out approximately 10 yards of yarn. Snip and discard. This staggers the color changes in the gradient between the skeins for a more gradual change between colors.
Draw yarn from the center of each cake and, working with both strands held together, CO 24 sts.
Setup Row 1 and 2 – k all
Body (Hurdle Stitch)
Rows 1 and 2 – *k1, p1*
Rows 3 and 4 – k all
Repeat these 4 rows until the scarf measures 65″ long, ending with Row 4.
Finishing
BO all sts. Weave in ends.
Block lightly if desired.
