MATERIALS
- Color Theory, weight 4 (100% acrylic, 246 yds/100 g)
- 1 ball – Moonbeam (A)
- 1 ball – Tourmaline (B)
- US 8/5.0mm 16” knitting needles
- Measuring Tape

GAUGE
There are 2 different gauges for this pattern because there are two different stitches used; garter stitch for the scarf and stockinette for the gloves.
FINISHED SIZE
The gloves come in 2 sizes: regular + large.
The scarf also comes in 2 sizes: regular + long.

NOTES
The scarf comes in 2 lengths: regular + long. The gloves come in small/medium + medium/large for circumference around the forearm. Each of the larger sizes is indicated in ().
The scarf is increased every 6th row.
The secondary color for the scarf is carried within the I-cord edging. Twist the non-used color around the working yarn to hide it.
The gloves are knit flat and mattress seamed along one edge, leaving a thumbhole.
SCARF PATTERN
Using A, CO 6 sts
Rows 1-5: k3, sl3wyif (6 sts)
Row 6: k to last 4 sts, KFB, sl3wyif (7 sts)
Rows 7-11: k to last 3 sts, sl3wyif (7 sts)
Rows 12-17: rep Rows 6-11 (8 sts)
Switch to B on Row 17 when slipping last 3 sts.
Make sure you twist A around B by bringing B underneath A at the start of every even row to hide the unused color in the I-cord.
Rows 18-35: using B, rep Rows 6-11, 3 times (11 sts)

SEAMING
Fold glove in half lengthwise.
Place m 6.5” up.
Using the mattress stitch, seam the side to m.
Leave a 2” long gap for thumbhole.
Seam rem sts.
Secure and weave in all ends. Block gloves.
