Materials Needed:

  • 225-425 yards (1-2 skeins) of Lion Brand Coboo in Color A (Vanilla Blossom)
  • 260-474 yards (2-3 skeins) of Lion Brand Coboo in Color B (Tan)
  • 203-367 yards (1-2 skeins) of Lion Brand Coboo in Color C (Russet)
  • 24” US size 6 (4mm) circular knitting needles
  • 24” US size 3 (3.25mm) circular knitting needles
  • Tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure
  • Stitch holder

Notes:

1.Front and back panels are knit flat using circular needles from the bottom up. Then the collar is worked directly onto the top of the front and back panels on circular needles in the round.

2.Stitches are slipped purl wise unless otherwise stated.

Gauge:

23 sts X 32 rows = 4” X 4” in pattern stitch

Do not cut yarn. Move on to collar.

Collar:

The collar is worked directly onto the top of the front and back panel starting by casting on stitches at the end of the front panel, attaching and picking up all stitches on the back panel, then casting on more stitches and attaching to the front panel to create a circle.

Switch to 3.25mm needles.

Using the knitting on cast on method, CO 30(25, 25, 20, 20, 20) sts after Row 156(160, 164, 168, 172, 176) on the front panel.

Join to the first stitch of the back panel by slipping the first st of the back panel to the needles, then picking up and passing over the last CO st to the stitch holder. Twist that stitch and place back on the needle.

Then slip all remaining back panel stitches to the needle. Using the ball of yarn from the back panel, CO 30(25, 25, 20, 20, 20) stsusing the knitting on method.

Join to the front panel by slipping the first stitch of the front panel to the left needle, then picking up and passing over the last CO st to the right needle.

All front and back panel stitches plus 60(50, 50, 40, 40, 40) new CO stitches should be on the needle now.

Round 1: pm on right needle, *K1, P1, repeat from * around. (134(144, 156, 158, 178, 190)

Round 2: sm, *K1, P1, repeat from * around. (134(144, 156, 158, 178, 190)

Rounds 3-8: Repeat Round 2.

BO all stitches.

Finishing:

Lay front and back panels together. Seam sides using the long tails from each color change.

Weave in all ends and block.
