<> DPN 4 mm (US 6/ UK8)

<> Loops & Threads, Impeccable, (4) – 100% acrylic.

Common abbreviations of knit stitches:

k – knit

p – purl

yo – yarn over

sel s – selvage stitch: always slip the first stitch knitwise, work to the last stitch, purl the last stitch

k3tog – knit three together: Slip the first two stitches knitwise, then knit third stitch, and finally, pass two slipped stitches over the knitted stitch.

Candle flame stitch knitting pattern:

Cast on a multiple of 4, plus 3 extra stitches and 2 selvage stitches. For example 33 sts.

Row 1: sel s, [p3, (k1, yo, k1)- in the same stitch] – repeat till the end as many times as needed across the row, p3, sel s.

Row 2: sel s, [k3, p3] repeat across, k3, sel s.

Row 3: sel s, repeat [p3, k3] across, p3, sel s.
