Knitted Adorable Boots

The bootie pattern includes three different sizes, from 0 to 9 months
I use different size needles in this project. If you do not have this luxury, simply use size 2 needles throughout and cast on very loosely.
BOOTIES PATTERN
Cast on 86 st with size 3 needles
Ruffle and lace:
Switch to size 2 needles
Row 1: p1, k1 tbl, *p2, k1 tbl. Repeat from * across row.
Row 2: *p1, k1 tbl, k1. Repeat from * across row, ending with k1 tbl.
Repeat these two rows once
Row 5: *P1, k1 tbl, drop 1 st off needle. Repeat from * across row ending with a K1 tbl.
Unravel the dropped stitches all the way down to create the ruffle.

Row 6: k56, k2tog (57 stitches)
Row 7: knit
Row 8: purl
Row 9: *p2, yo, k3, sl1, k2tog, psso, k3, yo, repeat from * across, ending with p2.

Row 37: k14 and stop, leaving half the stitches on each needle.
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and use this to seam the stitches together Kitchener-style to make the sole of the bootie. (If you dislike Kitchener, you can always K28 on row 37, bind off, and seam as normal.) Then seam up the back of the bootie. Remember that the cuff will be turned down and sew the seam so that it will not show on the outer side of the cuff.
After seaming, fold the cuff down. Line up the two rows of eyelets and thread the ribbon through both sets together, going under the single stitches and over the triples of stitches. Tie in a bow.
