Finished garment measurements: chest circumference - 92(100)108(116)126(136) cm, length - 43(45)47(49)52(55) cm, inner sleeve length - 10(10)11(11)12(12) cm.

Materials Required:

  • Yarn: Novita Kaisla (50% cotton, 50% polyester, 197 m/100 g) - 250(300)350(400)450(500) g in blue color (341).
  • Needles: No. 5, circular needles No. 4 (40 cm long).

Ribbing 2x2: alternate knitting 2 knit sts and 2 purl sts.

Lace pattern: follow the chart.

Gauge: 12 sts in lace pattern = 10 cm.

Back: With needles No. 5, cast on 56(62)66(70)76(82) sts, knit 6 cm in ribbing 2x2. Then, knit in lace pattern starting from the 1st row as follows: knit 1 st before the repeat (right side), knit the 2 sts of the repeat 27(30)32(34)37(40) times, end with 1 st after the repeat. Repeat rows 1-2. At a work height of 25(26)27(28)30(32) cm for the armholes, bind off once at each side 6(6)6(8)8(8) sts = 44(50)54(54)60(66) sts. Continue straight.

At an armhole height of 17(18)19(20)21(22) cm for the neckline, bind off the middle 20(20)20(20)22(22) sts and finish each side separately. At an armhole height of 18(19)20(21)22(23) cm, bind off 12(15)17(17)19(22) sts of the shoulder at once. Finish the other side of the neckline symmetrically.

Front: Knit similarly to the back, but with a deeper neckline. For this, at an armhole height of 12(13)14(15)16(17) cm, transfer the middle 16(16)16(16)18(18) sts to an additional needle and then knit each side separately. For the neckline shaping, bind off 2 sts once from the inside on the next 2nd row. At an armhole height of 18(19)20(21)22(23) cm, bind off 12(15)17(17)19(22) sts of the shoulder at once. Finish the other side of the neckline symmetrically.

Sleeves: With needles No. 5, cast on 42(44)46(50)52(54) sts, knit 2.5 cm in ribbing 2x2. Then, knit in lace pattern starting from the 1st row as follows: knit 1 st before the repeat (right side), knit the 2 sts of the repeat 20(21)22(24)25(26) times, end with 1 st after the repeat. Repeat rows 1-2. At a work height of 14(14)15(17)18(18) cm, bind off all sts.

Assembly: Lay out the pieces on a flat surface, moisten from the wrong side, and let dry. Sew the shoulder seams. For the neckline edge, evenly pick up 88(88)88(92)92(92) sts with circular needles No. 4, including sts from the additional needle. Knit in the round 2 cm in ribbing 2x2. Bind off the sts as they appear. Sew the sleeves into the armholes, complete the side seams and sleeve seams.
